Welcome!
With gratitude to those who visit us,
we aim to connect people in
the community, shops, and customers.
Situated 3 minutes walk from Mitaka Station South Exit, the shopping street is a 350m stretch north to south on Chuo Street. There are a variety of specialty shops such as restaurants, supermarkets, medical and physical therapy, beauty salons, clothing, food, electrical appliances, daily necessities, etc.
We value face-to-face relationships with local residents. “Mitaka Space Ai” is a membership community space that utilizes vacant stores, and the box gallery “Mitaka Space Ai Plus” displays the works of many handmade artists is also note-worthy.
On weekends, the shopping street becomes a pedestrian street (hokoten) and you can walk comfortably. There are also 40 to 60 shops at the M-Marche, held once a month at the car-free hokoten pedestrian street. The charm of this event is the warm connection with various stallholders.
