This popular route covers the Ghibli Museum and the Yuzo Yamamoto Memorial Museum
This course includes a visit to the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka (reservations required), which is visited daily not only from Japan but also from overseas, and the Yuzo Yamamoto Memorial Museum, which is a memorial to the former residence of the nationally famous author Yuzo Yamamoto. The recommended course is a walk along the Kazenosanpomichi, which is a path from the south exit of Mitaka Station along the Tamagawa-josui (waterway). On the way, near the place where the writer Osamu Dazai is said to have entered the water, there is a Gyokkaseki from his hometown, Tsugaru Kanagi (now Goshogawara City), which is also recommended for Dazai fans. This is a popular sightseeing course in Mitaka, where visitors can enjoy the seasonal plants and trees along the Tamagawa-josui River.
